The Diploma in UI UX Design is a comprehensive part-time course spanning 9 months and 220+ hours of learning, and covering the full spectrum of User Interface and User Experience Design (UI UX Design). In Term 1, you will develop a solid foundation in both UI and UX Design.       What is UI UX Design?

      UI and UX stand for User Interface and User Experience design. UX focuses on creating a human-first experience for users, while UI deals with the aesthetic and interactive aspects of products or services. Both fields are not limited to digital mediums, but the demand for tech-based interactions has increased digital employment. Common job profiles include Interaction Designer, UX Researcher, Product Designer, and UI UX Designer.

      What is the difference between UI and UX?

      User Interface designers create interfaces while focusing on aesthetics, whereas User Experience designers build products to enhance the overall user experience. UI is a subset of UX and takes care of colour palettes, visual graphics, style, etc.; UX offers design solutions and develops the user journey.       Do I need prior knowledge/experience in design?

      It is not mandatory to have any prior knowledge or experience in the field of design. However, being from a design field or an allied one would be an added advantage.

      What is the difference between the Certificate, Diploma and the PG Diploma course?

      The UI UX Design Certificate course covers research, information & interaction design, and visual design. Classes are held twice weekly in the evenings for 5 months, with over 120 hours of live learning.

      The part-time UI UX Diploma lasts 9 months, offering 200+ hours of live learning. It's a comprehensive program for career transformation.

      The part-time PG Diploma in UI UX Design offers immersive learning in visual communication, UI, and UX design. It spans 14 months with over 300 hours of live learning, including a Job Guarantee.

      How will I learn UI UX Design online?

      AND Academy's courses are immersive and interactive, providing extensive human support. You'll explore new concepts through live sessions, demonstrations, and presentations, creating an active learning environment.       What are the class timings?

      Live sessions for the part-time courses are held twice a week in the evenings; between 7 pm to 10 pm. (Class timings can be subject to change, and in such a case, learners will be informed much in advance).

      What is the medium of instruction?

      The medium of instruction for both written and verbal communication will be English. A basic understanding of written and spoken English is necessary to pursue the course.

      What is the faculty-to-student ratio?

      Each class has a maximum of 25-30 students for a personalised learning experience.

      What design software will I learn?

      During the course, you will learn Figma, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop to execute design outcomes. Learners can of avail FREE software classes upon enrollment before the Course classes begin. Those who are not able to of avail the classes prior to the course commencement can attend the weekly software support sessions over and above your course sessions, to get live support.

      Will I get a certification on completion of the course?

      Yes, upon successful completion of your course, you will be awarded a Certificate / Diploma / PG Diploma.

      What if I don’t complete the course due to an unforeseen circumstance?

      Learners who are unable to continue learning for any reason can temporarily pause their course and resume in the next batch from the same point.

      What are the admission requirements?

      The programmes are designed for graduates from any background or skill set. No prior knowledge or experience in design is required; however, it would be an added advantage if you are from a related field or have previous exposure to design.

      What is the admission process?

      • Submit an online application.
      • Appear for an online interview.
      • Get your offer and enrol in the programme.

      Are there any loans available?

      We offer several options to finance your education at AND. You can pay via EMIs starting at just Rs.8,486 per month, depending on the course and loan tenure. To consult with our Course Advisors on different financing options, click here.

      Is there a refund policy?

      The fee refund is only applicable up to 6 days from the Orientation Programme date, with a non-refundable amount of Rs.5,000. We also offer students the option to Pause their course and continue with the next batch.

      Are there any scholarships?

      Outstanding candidates are awarded scholarships based on their performance during interviews and, when applicable, entrance tests.

      Can my employer pay for my upskilling/education?

      Our courses are structured to suit the diverse needs of working professionals. Your employer has the option to cover your fees and take advantage of GST benefits through our course.
